Message questions but here goes.
it isnt that hard of a project to do, especially since you aren't putting in any amps. you can either modify the bose enclosures to house the new speakers or use the nissan non-bose brackets. i had both on hand and decided my application would work best to just modify the old bose stuff. when you buy the stuff make sure you get enough speaker wire to do the whole job. I think the kappas come with wire so that might do you. if they do they will have all the connections that you need.
if you decide to get an amp later it wont be that hard to re-configure the setup, just a matter of changing a few wires around(ok a little more than that but it is easy).
i used a bose rear speaker pod as the enclosure and made a plate of wood (3/4" MDF) as the top portion where the speaker mounts. it ended up working nicely.

you can dyno-mat if you think that it will help, but with what you are doing it probably wont matter all that much. even with my setup there isn't a great need for it except in the trunk area where the sub is (dont get me wrong, i love dyno-mat. i spent over $500 for the stuff in my last vehicle that i competed with).

this may help a little, if not email me with more specific questions.

one of these days i just need to tear my car apart and do an install write-up...

My other ride is a helicopter, it has 420 shaft HP derated down to 317 by the tranny (thats all it can take)...I'd rather take the Z.
